Joseph Cohen is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the City University of New York, Queens College.
His research interests involve the intersection of public finances, economic policy, and political and economic system order and crisis. Additional interests include money, capitalism, financialization, and comparative-historical political economy.
He teaches advanced social statistics, research methods and a seminar on capitalism and modern society.
Prof. Cohen is the Director of Queens College’s Masters Program in Applied Social Research.
He is originally from Canada.
